CONTRACT CASE STUDY
A YEAR AT THE MANOR - THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW
For 14 months during 2019/20 I was part of a small but diverse team of web specialists, copywriters and developers who completely overhauled the huge Episerver CMS based website for the University of Law. Working closely with award-winning creative agency Brand 42 (Top Gear, Club Rakuten, Mail Online) and unrivalled SEO consultancy Blue Array (Zoopla, Unidays), I was responsible for the design and deployment of the complex Information Architecture for the new site, as well as managing the content migration, and comprehensive CMS training for the in-house marketing staff.

I am an experienced content manager who has worked in a variety of FTC roles using a many different content management systems, including WordPress (Woo Commerce), Episerver, TradeIt, and others. I have a deep understanding of content hierachy and information architecture strategy, from e-retail product loading and development, to full commercial site migration projects, I can provide content management services to suit all applications and requirements.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Though focused on furthering my career in web design and digital marketing, I feel passionately that in order to be a robust, well-rounded and personally satisfied individual, one needs to foster interests and pastimes outside of the workplace.
With a keen interest in local history and architecture, my weekends are often spent trawling around local antique fairs, exploring classic car shows, or visiting one of the many National Trust and English Heritage properties in the South-East of England. As a long-term member of the RHS at Wisley Gardens in Surrey, I am an enthusiastic gardener with a specific affection for growing organic fruit and vegetables, and I like to think that I am pretty good at cooking them too!
Demonstrative of my love of all things ‘great outdoors’, I am a keen world traveller, and an enthusiastic amateur travel photographer to boot. In the past few years (pre Covid) I have undertaken an expedition to the Arctic Circle, been hiking on the levadas of Madeira, and most recently travelled across Cambodia to explore the ancient temples of Angkor. I am also an amateur Raspberry Pi enthusiast, and I have a fervent interest in local, national and international politics.
